Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keijo Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uzi comes to the cage accompanied by Top dog feat. Chuck Norris. Richards comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rolling Stones - Paint It Black kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Keijo Richards acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzi pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Richards counters with an inside leg kick.
Richards buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Uzi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Richards paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Keijo Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Richards gets the takedown into side control.
Uzi avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Richards.
Uzi can't do much from the bottom here.
Richards throws an elbow but Uzi slips to the side and avoids it well.
Uzi is looking to regain half guard here but Richards keeps moving and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Richards accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Richards works a leg free and moves into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Richards connects with a leg kick. Uzi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Uzi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Richards connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Uzi scrambles back to his feet.

A slow jab from Richards misses its intended target.
Richards throws a sloppy head kick and Uzi moves out of range easily.
Richards scores with a nice strike.
Richards dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Uzi. That did some damage!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Richards fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Uzi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Richards shoots for a double leg takedown but Uzi sprawls well. He's pushed Richards's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Uzi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Richards throws a leg kick but Uzi moved away.
Richards dips to his left and cracks Uzi with an uppercut!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kalle Uzi's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Richards stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Uzi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Richards passes Uzi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Richards looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Uzi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kalle Uzi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Keijo Richards really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Perkele! logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
