Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Kingsley!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingsley drives through with a takedown into guard.

Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Kingsley's shoulder, as Kingsley tries to avoid the shot.

Smith throws a lazy right hand but Kingsley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Smith throws a front kick that sends Kingsley stumbling back into the cage.

Kingsley moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kingsley paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kingsley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
Kingsley fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kingsley.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kingsley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kingsley.

Kingsley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working.
James Kingsley has got the better of the ground game so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kingsley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A bone on bone clash there as Kingsley blocks the leg kick.
Smith takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Smith tries a low kick but Kingsley avoids it.
Kingsley darts in looking for a takedown but Smith gets double underhooks and turns Kingsley into the cage.
Smith presses Kingsley against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kingsley blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Smith misses with a punch to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
