Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Kneeigeninen!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do checks a leg kick.
Kneeigeninen lands a head kick. Do smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Will Do has been cut.
Kneeigeninen throws a head kick but Do moves out of range.
Kneeigeninen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kneeigeninen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kneeigeninen pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kneeigeninen tries to keep at a distance but Do has taken the fight into the clinch.

Do pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Do misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A head kick misses from Kneeigeninen.
Do shoots in but no luck this time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice sprawl there from Kneeigeninen as Do shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Do. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Do lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Do.


It looks like Seppo Kneeigeninen has been cut.
Kneeigeninen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kneeigeninen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've been informed that Kneeigeninen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Do closes the distance and clinches.
Kneeigeninen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Do has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Do tries to land knees in the clinch but Kneeigeninen avoids the damage to the body.
Kneeigeninen is trying to maintain a safe position but Do gets an underhook and turns Kneeigeninen into the cage.

Do escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kneeigeninen throws a leg kick but Do moved away.
Kneeigeninen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Do.

Do throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kneeigeninen was covering up waiting for the punch and Do finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kneeigeninen is looking to stand up but Do isn't so interested in that idea.
Kneeigeninen tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Do trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kneeigeninen trying to control the position.
Do wants to control from the top but Kneeigeninen keeps moving.
Kneeigeninen keeping full guard, as Do tries to pass.
Kneeigeninen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Do really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kneeigeninen controlling from the full mount.
Do is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Do is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Do can't escape the position.
Kneeigeninen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Do is looking to escape.
Do manages to regain half guard. Good work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Do misses with some strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Do will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kneeigeninen misses with a head kick.
Kneeigeninen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kneeigeninen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Do's head.

Do closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kneeigeninen's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Do trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Do missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Do is looking to advance position but Kneeigeninen has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Do swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Do is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kneeigeninen trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Do is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Do tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Do is working hard here to advance position.
Kneeigeninen can't control as he wanted to and Do manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Do tries to get to full guard but Kneeigeninen has control of the leg.
Kneeigeninen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Do keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kneeigeninen sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Seppo Kneeigeninen has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Kneeigeninen misses with a low kick.
Seppo Kneeigeninen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Kneeigeninen.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Do lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kneeigeninen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kneeigeninen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A lazy left from Do finds it's target.
Do looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
