Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gonna Spanked (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gareth McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCall is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bobby Darin - Mack The Knife. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall throws a head kick that Spanked semi-blocks.
Spanked ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've been informed that McCall has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

McCall chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Spanked can pounce on him.
Spanked shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCall as he avoids it easily.

Spanked feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McCalls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Spanked lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Spanked has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

McCall throws a hook to the side of Spanked's head but Spanked sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

McCall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Gonna Spanked will probably get the nod.
