Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Ortiz.

Skayias dives in for a single leg takedown but Ortiz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ortiz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Skayias has had enough of the clinch but Ortiz keeps him there for the moment.

David Ortiz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skayias closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Skayias drops Ortiz with a big left hand! Ortiz is injured, injured bad! Skayias jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
