Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aadilou Ankutse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankutse comes to the cage accompanied by i ka kane . Lee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stroke It. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aadilou Ankutse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Freddy Lee!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ankutse feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Ankutse changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lee keeping full guard, as Ankutse tries to pass.
Lee keeping moving, preventing Ankutse from controlling successfully.

Lee has his feet on Ankutse's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Ankutse takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lee has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Ankutse scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ankutse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Lee counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Ankutse takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Ankutse looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lee tried to score with a low kick but Ankutse checks it.

Lee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ankutse.
Some bone on bone action there as Ankutse checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lee leaves Ankutse with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ankutse.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ankutse misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lee connects with an inside leg kick.
Lee throws a push kick but Ankutse slaps the foot to one side.
Aadilou Ankutse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ankutse on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lee. Lee obviously looking to wear him down.

Ankutse closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lee wants to control but Ankutse postures up.
Ankutse misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Ankutse in side control, throwing shots but Lee defends.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ankutse is working for a submission of some sort.
Ankutse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lee is trying to maintain the position but Ankutse is very close to passing his half guard.

Ankutse is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lee has managed to free his arm - good work.
Lee tries to get to full guard but Ankutse has control of the leg.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ankutse shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ankutse.
Lee scoring well with a low kick there.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Ankutse moves out of range easily.

Ankutse shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lee scores with a jab. Ankutse acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Aadilou Ankutse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee throws a head kick but Ankutse moves out of range.
Ankutse looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Ankutse persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.

A nice inside leg kick there by Lee. That's going to slow Ankutse down.

Lee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ankutse is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Lee catches Ankutse with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ankutse tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ankutse darts in looking for a takedown but Lee gets double underhooks and turns Ankutse into the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lee throws a good cross that connects.
Ankutse avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ankutse takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lee looks to land a body kick but Ankutse moved away.
Ankutse looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ankutse throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range.
A head kick from Lee lands but Ankutse takes it in his stride.

Ankutse feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Freddy Lee was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lee throws a right and a left that Ankutse avoids nicely.
Lee looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Ankutse goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lee continues to drive forward.

Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ankutse chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ankutse gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ankutse tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Lee is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ankutse buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ankutse!! Ankutse is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Lee throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freddy Lee!
