The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamadoui scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hamadoui will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Butko takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Hamadoui has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Butko is pushing Hamadoui's head away, looking to escape. Hamadoui manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Butko takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hamadoui cracks Butko with a big right hand but Butko just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hamadoui tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Butko pushes Hamadoui away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hamadoui gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hamadoui passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Butko!
Butko is still in real trouble! Can Hamadoui finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Hamadoui! Butko is hurt baaadly! Hamadoui is firing away with more strikes - Butko is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
