Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiilo Rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Legend Is Born. Rodrigo has chosen Jedi Mind Tricks- The Philosophy of Horror as his entrance music. Ip Man could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hiilo Rodrigo's chin.

Rodrigo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rodrigo gets slowly back to his feet.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rodrigo has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Man does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rodrigo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Man has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Man and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rodrigo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Man tries to land a leg kick but Rodrigo saw it coming and moves away.

and Man counters with a head kick that drops Rodrigo to the mat! Rodrigo scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Rodrigo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Man cracks Rodrigo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Rodrigo falls to his knees and Man doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Ip Man thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
