Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Gimmick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gimmick comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard - Hungry. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 16 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Justin Gimmick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, James James!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gimmick goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Gimmick dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on James. That did some damage!
James moves out of range as Gimmick strikes.
Gimmick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gimmick wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from James.
Gimmick throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gimmick buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gimmick leaves James with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Justin Gimmick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James James.
Gimmick blocks a jab.
Gimmick dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on James. That did some damage!
James has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gimmick finds it's way round the side to connect with James's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gimmick tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gimmick to the ground. Gimmick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
James tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gimmick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten James somewhat.
James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gimmick's waist but Gimmick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.

Gimmick lands with a good body shot.
Gimmick throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.

James scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gimmick has his hands clasped together around James's back. He's all about the action.
James thows a huge punch but Gimmick dodges it nicely.
Gimmick moves into full guard.
James works over Gimmick with some ground and pound from guard.

Gimmick pushes James off and gets back to his feet.

A lull in the action here as James stalls from top position.
James wants to control but Gimmick is keeping him busy.

James sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gimmick is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gimmick is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Gimmick's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

James is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gimmick is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
James throwing shots but missing, from side control.

James working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Gimmick regains half guard, as James was trying to land strikes.
James wants to pass the guard but Gimmick is defending well.
Gimmick wants to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gimmick does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

James is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gimmick is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
