The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sundberg bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sundberg tries to advance to mount but Van Der Voort denies him.
Sundberg works to advance to full mount. Van Der Voort defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Van Der Voort is squirming around, avoiding Sundberg's attempts to control the action.
Sundberg is trying to control here but Van Der Voort has managed to regain half guard.
Sundberg is working for an americana but Van Der Voort has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Sundberg was thinking about the submission.
Sundberg is looking to work some ground and pound but Van Der Voort has wrist control.

Sundberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Der Voort swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sundberg prevents Van Der Voort from getting back to his feet.

Sundberg is just content to waste time from the top position. Van Der Voort takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Sundberg is pushing down on Van Der Voort's leg trying to pass to half guard. Van Der Voort is fighting to maintain full guard but Sundberg has managed to sneak the leg through.
