Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Public Enemy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Enemy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is (Silence). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Public Enemy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hitmon Lee!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Enemy swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Enemy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lee slips under a jab.
Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Enemy moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Lee takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Enemy wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.
Enemy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lee's calf.
Good exchange - Enemy coming out on top.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Enemy manages to avoid it.
Enemy misses with a low kick.
Enemy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Enemy misses with a body shot.
Enemy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lee in his tracks.
Lee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Enemy.
Some bone on bone action there as Enemy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee connects with a right hand. Enemy shakes it off.
Lee looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Enemy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Enemy.
A clash of legs there as Lee blocks the low kick.
Enemy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A jab from Enemy misses.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Enemy misses with a low kick.
Enemy's corner calls for a 1-2. Enemy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Enemy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Enemy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Enemy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gutz Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Public Enemy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Enemy swings widly with a right hand

and Lee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Enemy's guard now.
Enemy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Enemy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Enemy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee wants to pass the guard but Enemy is keeping the position.
Enemy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lee is trying desperately to improve position.
Lee felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Lee is squirming around, avoiding Enemy's attempts to control the action.
Lee is bucking up trying to escape but Enemy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Enemy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lee is desperately trying to improve his position but Enemy has a good base and remains in mount.
Enemy with shots to the head and body - Lee looks very uncomfortable down there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Enemy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Enemy is landing with some decent strikes but Lee is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.
Enemy looking to control but Lee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lee is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee tries to lock up and control but Enemy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Enemy in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Lee is trying desperately to improve position.

Enemy lands a heavy elbow.
Enemy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The referee warns Lee that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


Lee is rocked!
Lee takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Lee is still in real trouble! Can Enemy finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Enemy! Lee is hurt baaadly! Enemy is firing away with more strikes - Lee is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Public Enemy!
Our winner, Public Enemy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
