Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy The Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Riordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy The Kid had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riordan closes the distance and pushes The Kid back into the cage.
The Kid goes for a takedown in the clinch but Riordan prevents it.
Riordan is pressed up against the cage. The Kid has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Riordan down to the mat. Riordan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The Kid misses the shot to the body.
Riordan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. The Kid manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Kid throws out a loose jab but Riordan uses good head movement to avoid it.
The Kid clobbers Riordan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Riordan tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Kid swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tommy Riordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Riordan scores with a sloppy right hand. The Kid should have avoided that one.
The Kid misses with a looping right.
The Kid will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The Kid throws a chopping leg kick but Riordan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The Kid has been working on his balance at Team Hopkins, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Riordan.

Riordan is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged The Kid with him. The Kid is trying to defend but Riordan has an arm under the chin now! The Kid grimaces and is forced to tap out!
