Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Rosales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregory Rosales has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregory Rosales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rosales misses with a wild body shot.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar is keen to just control but Rosales is a slippery customer.

Lesnar seems to be working for a kimura but Rosales defends the submission attempt.
Rosales has his hands clasped together around Lesnar's back. He's all about the action.
Rosales really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lesnar seems to be looking for submissions.
Rosales tries to roll over but Lesnar keeps him under control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rosales can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lesnar controls the pace.
Lesnar wants to control from the top but Rosales keeps moving.

Brock Lesnar has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Lesnar fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rosales to the ground. Lesnar is now in Rosales's guard.

Rosales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lesnar on the ground.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Lesnar throws an elbow that misses. Rosales uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lesnar's guard. Nice move by Rosales!
Rosales will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lesnar has his foot on Rosales's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rosales works his way back into a safe position though.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Lesnar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rosales did well to prevent Lesnar getting side control.
Lesnar wants to control but Rosales is keeping him busy.
Lesnar is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Lesnar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rosales has managed to free his arm - good work.

Lesnar wants to work for an arm triangle but Rosales is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rosales is looking to get back to is feet but Lesnar passes into side control.

Lesnar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lesnar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lesnar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rosales is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lesnar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lesnar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lesnar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rosales's head.

Lesnar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rosales keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Lesnar slips under a jab.

Lesnar dives in and scores a takedown into Rosales's guard.

Lesnar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rosales manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lesnar has Rosales in his guard.

Rosales throwing strikes but missing.
Rosales lands a couple of elbows.
Rosales throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lesnar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Lesnar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lesnar wants to hit a switch here but Rosales passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Lesnar there!
Lesnar tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brock Lesnar has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rosales postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lesnar looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rosales tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lesnar wants to hold on but Rosales pushes him away.

Lesnar is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rosales lands a big shot there that rocks Lesnar but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rosales looking to control but Lesnar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lesnar tries to hold on but Rosales postures up.
Lesnar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rosales can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lesnar is looking to escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Lesnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
