Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bakung Monk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arne Kaurismaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Monk might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to X Amount of Words- Blue October. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arne Kaurismaa!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaurismaa lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Monk sprawling to the canvas. Kaurismaa follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Monk hang on?

Monk is rocked!

It looks like Bakung Monk has been cut.
Kaurismaa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Oh Monk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kaurismaa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Monk is looking to improve his position.
Monk is in trouble now - Kaurismaa has advanced to mount!
Kaurismaa throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Monk seems to have got his legs back now.
Monk tries to lock up and control but Kaurismaa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
A nice elbow there by Kaurismaa.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kaurismaa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Kaurismaa throws some wild stikes that Monk manages to avoid easily.
Kaurismaa throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Kaurismaa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kaurismaa loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Monk scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kaurismaa land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kaurismaa stands and salutes the crowd.
