Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Robles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Okse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bjorn Okse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pete Robles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bjorn Okse!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robles misses with a takedown

and Okse counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Okse engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
My spies in Cozad MMA Sydney inform me that Okse has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
