Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deidara Zetsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zetsu comes to the cage accompanied by Make Me. Vaughn has chosen Walking Tall as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zetsu scores with a leg kick.
Zetsu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Vaughn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zetsu.
Vaughn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zetsu.
Zetsu lands a head kick. Vaughn smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Zetsu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zetsu throws a head kick but Vaughn moves out of range.
Zetsu tries to clinch there but Vaughn circles away.
Vaughn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zetsu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vaughn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zetsu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zetsu delivers a nice body kick.

It looks like Chris Vaughn has been cut.

Zetsu seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Vaughn swats away the attempt to clinch by Zetsu.

Zetsu throws the left hand but Vaughn avoids the punch easily.
Zetsu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vaughn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zetsu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vaughn misses with a looping right.
Zetsu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vaughn momentarily.
Zetsu throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zetsu explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Zetsu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vaughn.

Deidara Zetsu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Vaughn.
Zetsu tries to work over Vaughn's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Zetsu lands with a light punch inside.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vaughn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zetsu fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Zetsu lands a left and a right that sends Vaughn crashing to the canvas! Zetsu dives into mount looking to finish!


That has opened up Chris Vaughn's cut even more.
Zetsu wants to control but instead Vaughn manages to regain half guard.
Zetsu slips a nice elbow through Vaughn's hands, connecting with Vaughn's forehead.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zetsu tries to pass to full mount but Vaughn defends it.
Zetsu takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vaughn takes a body punch but keeps moving.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Chris Vaughn's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
