Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tigran Badoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Burke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burke is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Manish Boy. Tigran Badoyan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tigran Badoyan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, James Burke!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burke takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Badoyan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Burke will feel that in the morning.
Burke misses with a body shot.
Burke connects with a solid leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Burke has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Badoyan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Burke counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burke accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tigran Badoyan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Badoyan throws a front kick that sends Burke stumbling back into the cage.
Badoyan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Badoyan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Burke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Badoyan was well out of range. Poor timing from Burke.
Badoyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burke lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Burke goes for a double leg but Badoyan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Badoyan continues to drive forward.

Burke lands with a left to the head.
Badoyan lands an uppercut.
Badoyan avoiding damage.
Badoyan blocking some punches.

Burke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice body punch from Badoyan.
Burke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Badoyan throws out the jab.
Some bone on bone action there as Burke checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Badoyan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Burke looks to land a right hand but Badoyan moved out of range.
Badoyan tests Burke's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Badoyan.
Badoyan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Badoyan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Burke. That did some damage!

Badoyan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burke manages to avoid it.

Badoyan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burke's guard.

Burke is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Badoyan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Burke swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tigran Badoyan just wasn't active enough.
Badoyan throws a body punch but Burke moves out of range.
Badoyan misses with a straight left.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Burke takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Badoyan throws an overhand right that lands on Burke's shoulder, as Burke tries to avoid the shot.
Badoyan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Badoyan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Burke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Badoyan keeps working.
Burke is trying to ground and pound but Badoyan uses the momentary lack of control by Burke to regain half guard.

Burke wants to free his trapped foot but Badoyan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are battling for position here. Badoyan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Burke wants to control from the top but Badoyan keeps moving.

Burke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Badoyan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Badoyan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Badoyan is pulling down on Burke's head. It's preventing any offense from Burke, at least for the moment.
Badoyan seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tigran Badoyan wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Burke looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Badoyan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Badoyan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burke circles away quickly and effectively.

Badoyan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Badoyan thuds his right hand into Burke's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Burke lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Burke doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Badoyan lands with a kick to the temple. Burke shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Badoyan connects with a leg kick. Burke looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Badoyan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Burke is looking to slow Badoyan down with leg kicks.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Badoyan throws a leg kick which misses Burke's front leg but catches the back leg as Burke tries to avoid it.

Burke misses with a hook. Badoyan ducked under it nicely.
Burke's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Burke takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Burke drops his hands momentarily and Badoyan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Badoyan is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Badoyan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Burke.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

James Burke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Burke takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Burke is not content to let Badoyan control the position.
Burke avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Badoyan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tigran Badoyan.
Badoyan throws the left hand but Burke avoids the punch easily.
Badoyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Burke throws an overhand right that lands on Badoyan's shoulder, as Badoyan tries to avoid the shot.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tigran Badoyan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Badoyan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
