Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Asztalos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Punisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asztalos comes into the arena with Stronger blaring out of the sound system. Punisher has chosen The Punishment as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punisher throws a right hand that Asztalos ducks under and follows up with a left that Asztalos also avoids with ease.
Asztalos tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Punisher to counter with a crisp jab.
Punisher darts in looking for a takedown but Asztalos gets double underhooks and turns Punisher into the cage.
Asztalos lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Punisher backwards.
Punisher wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Punisher blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Punisher wants to break the clinch but can't.
Asztalos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Punisher's efforts to push away.
Asztalos misses with a short punch on the inside.

Punisher is trying to break the clinch but Asztalos has him pressed against the cage.

Asztalos turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Asztalos manages to end up in side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Punisher is not content to let Asztalos control the position.

Asztalos misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Asztalos wants to control the pace but Punisher is squirming around nicely.

Punisher is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Asztalos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

and Asztalos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Punisher, as that shot connected.

Asztalos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Punisher manages to avoid it.
Alex Asztalos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asztalos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Punisher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Asztalos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Asztalos lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Punisher to his knees! Asztalos keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
