Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harris Screwball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasqs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Harris Screwball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Cain Velasqs!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Screwball tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Velasqs lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Screwball steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Velasqs.
Screwball tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Velasqs manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Screwball fails with an attempt to clinch.
Screwball darts in trying to clinch
and Velasqs counters with a good low kick that Screwball was not able to check.
Screwball takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Velasqs misses the jab.
Screwball takes a swing at Velasqs's ribcage but misses.
Screwball throws a series of punches but Velasqs moves out of range.
Screwball takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Screwball fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Velasqs sprawls well initially but Screwball persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Screwball is looking to take a break and control but Velasqs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Velasqs is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Screwball pulls his head out easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Velasqs is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Screwball is tapping! Great win for Velasqs!
