The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hillis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nancy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hillis.
That kick from Nancy tenderised Hillis's leg. Hillis is trying to keep his angry face on.
Donk. Nancy catches Hillis right on the button with a cross.
Nancy throws an overhand right that lands on Hillis's shoulder, as Hillis tries to avoid the shot.
Hillis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nancy finds it's way round the side to connect with Hillis's head.
Nancy shoots in but Hillis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nancy moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hillis throws a right and a left that Nancy avoids nicely.
Nancy darts in looking for a takedown but Hillis gets double underhooks and turns Nancy into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hillis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Peyton Hillis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fancy Nancy.
Nancy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Nancy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hillis.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hillis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Nancy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Nancy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hillis's waist but Hillis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nancy off to one side.
Hillis missing with a left hand there. Nancy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fancy Nancy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nancy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Hillis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nancy.
Nancy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hillis sprawls well initially but Nancy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nancy postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hillis to stand up.
Nancy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hillis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nancy scrambles back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hillis misses with an uppercut. Nancy saw that one coming.
Nancy swings for the body but Hillis moves out of range.

Nancy throws a hook to the side of Hillis's head but Hillis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nancy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hillis sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nancy.
Hillis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nancy.
Hillis dips to his left and cracks Nancy with an uppercut!
Nancy is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nancy leaves his chin hanging out and Hillis seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nancy crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
