Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Myles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keys OMalley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Myles might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop. Darren Myles has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No joy there for OMalley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Myles throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Myles looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Myles throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Myles feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OMalley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Myles moves away.
OMalley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Myles.
OMalley throws a lazy right hand but Myles sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
OMalley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
OMalley throws a right and a left that Myles avoids nicely.

Myles shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as OMalley sprawls well. OMalley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Myles gets slowly back to his feet.

OMalley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Myles tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but OMalley defends well and Myles ends up having to push OMalley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

OMalley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Myles paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Myles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by OMalley.
OMalley catches Myles with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Oooooh!!! Myles has knocked OMalley down with a huge combo! Myles steps away and waves a wobbly OMalley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

OMalley walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles OMalley limp body while Myles jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

After the fight, Darren Myles was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
