The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Post throws a head kick that misses.
Kozlov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kozlov avoids the head kick by Post.
The fighters circling - Kozlov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Post throws a push kick but Kozlov slaps the foot to one side.
Kozlov misses with a hook.

and Kozlov counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Post regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kozlov.
Kozlov is looking to work some ground and pound but Post has wrist control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Post manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Post tries to control but Kozlov wriggling away.
Post sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Kozlov tries to reverse the position but Post maintains control.

Post controlling from mount.
Post wants to control the pace but Kozlov is squirming around nicely.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Frankie Post.
Post tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Post cracks the inside of Kozlov's front leg.

Kozlov scores with a nice strike.
Kozlov throws a hook but Post blocks it.
Kozlov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kozlov clinches up against the cage.
Kozlov tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Post tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kozlov's elbow.
Post lands an elbow inside that Kozlov shrugs off.

Post breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Post pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kozlov throws out a loose jab but Post uses good head movement to avoid it.
Post tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Post scores with a head kick.
Post throws a head kick but Kozlov moves out of range.
Post swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kozlov blocks a head kick by Post.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kozlov closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Post tries to keep at a distance but Kozlov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kozlov trying to stall but Post improves his position.
Kozlov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Post backwards.
Post wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kozlov has him pressed against the cage.
Kozlov lands with a light punch inside.
Kozlov avoids a wild elbow strike from Post.
Kozlov missing with knees to the body.
Post takes an elbow to the forehead.
Kozlov lands an elbow inside.
Post tries to break free but Kozlov pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kozlov lands a left hand.

Post throws a head kick that misses.
Post tries a head kick but it misses.
Post staying out of range there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aleksandr Kozlov dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Post counters with a series of strikes. Kozlov will be more careful next time no doubt.

Post gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Post ducks under a wild hook from Kozlov.

Kozlov is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Post's corner calls for a 1-2. Post obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Post seems to have recovered his senses.
Post avoids a punch combination nicely.
Post lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Frankie Post is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Post fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kozlov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Post plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kozlov throws a jab but it's blocked by Post.
Kozlov looks to score with a jab to the body but Post is just out of range.
Post throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Post lands with a kick to the temple. Kozlov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


Kozlov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kozlov blocks a head kick by Post.
Oh Kozlov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Post is breathing heavily.
Post throws a right hand that Kozlov ducks under and follows up with a left that Kozlov also avoids with ease.
Whack! Post lands a heavy head kick that drops Kozlov. The ref tackles Post to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Kozlov was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Frankie Post!
