Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Musashi Miyamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhar Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Musashi Miyamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jhar Slice!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slice has closed the distance and engaged Miyamoto in a clinch.
Slice tries to score a body lock takedown but Miyamoto shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Slice using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Slice's coach down at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slice's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Slice putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Miyamoto in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Slice manages to break the clinch.

Miyamoto rushes Slice and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Slice manages to pull guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Miyamoto looking to sit in guard and control but Slice gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Slice tries to stand but Miyamoto is controlling from the bottom.
Slice trying to control the position from guard on top but Miyamoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Miyamoto not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Miyamoto working a defensive guard but Slice passes into half guard.
Slice wants to free his trapped foot but Miyamoto is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Slice tries to stand but can't do so whilst Miyamoto controls his leg.

Slice wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miyamoto keeps working.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Horrible takedown by Miyamoto or perhaps it was just good defense by Slice which made him look bad.
Miyamoto shoots in but no luck this time.

Slice rushes Miyamoto and presses him up against the ropes.
Slice unloads a knee to the mid-section. Miyamoto lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slice has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Miyamoto regains guard immediately.

Slice drops back looking for a leg! Miyamoto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miyamoto manages to kick Slice off! Slice jumps back into Miyamoto's guard.
Miyamoto can't keep his opponent in guard - Slice advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Slice wants to stand up but Miyamoto is controlling the position.
Miyamoto is trying to stand up here but Slice is controlling him well.

Slice is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Slice seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Miyamoto is trying to stand.

Slice is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miyamoto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Slice.
Slice throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Miyamoto wants to control but Slice is keeping busy.
Slice wants to take a breather but Miyamoto is having none of it.
Slice is thwarting Miyamoto's attempts to control the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miyamoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Miyamoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.


Miyamoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Slice counters with a good low kick that Miyamoto was not able to check.
Slice slaps away a takedown attempt from Miyamoto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Miyamoto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slice defends it nicely.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Slice is looking to take a break and control but Miyamoto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Slice forces Miyamoto back against the ropes and clinches.

Slice pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miyamoto is defended easily by Slice.
Miyamoto throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Slice counters with an outside leg kick.
Miyamoto throws a lazy head kick

and Slice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Miyamoto manages to get to full guard.
Miyamoto keeping moving, preventing Slice from controlling successfully.
Slice trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Slice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Slice slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Miyamoto.

Slice wants to pass the guard but Miyamoto is keeping the position.

Musashi Miyamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slice tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Slice blocks a body shot from Miyamoto.
Musashi Miyamoto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Slice trying to stall but Miyamoto improves his position.
Slice jumps guard but Miyamoto stands there with Slice around his waist. Slice gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Slice is looking to take this one to the mat.

Slice breaks from the clinch.
Slice looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A head kick by Miyamoto misses
and Slice counters with a good low kick that Miyamoto was not able to check.
Musashi Miyamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slice tries to stall but Miyamoto uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Slice tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jhar Slice is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Slice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Miyamoto swings for the body but Slice moves out of range.
Slice bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jhar Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Slice winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
