The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unknown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Goddie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Unknown did well to prevent Goddie getting side control.

Goddie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goddie wants to stand but Unknown has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Goddie is thwarting Unknown's attempts to control the position.
Goddie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Unknown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goddie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Goddie is controlling the pace.
Goddie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Unknown for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Moloch Goddie wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Unknown throws a body kick that misses.
Unknown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goddie as he jumps to the side.
Goddie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Unknown swivels and escapes.

Goddie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Unknown to the mat! Unknown manages to get full guard.
