Killer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Burn In My Light. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Leon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Killer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Killer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Killer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables De Leon to keep the fight standing.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
De Leon wants to stand and escape but instead Killer has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Let's hope that Killer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

De Leon digs a right hand into Killer's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Killer's gas tank.
De Leon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
De Leon is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Killer is keeping busy.
