The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampson throws a shot from downtown. Seraphin moves away and avoids it.
Seraphin ducks under a wild hook from Sampson.
Seraphin doesn't manage to clinch there - Sampson circles away.
Seraphin shoots in for a takedown but Sampson shows good takedown defense.
Sampson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Seraphin.
Seraphin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sampson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sampson scores with a jab to the jaw.
The crowd cheers as Sampson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Seraphin doesn't seem phased though.
Seraphin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sampson throws a looping overhand right but Seraphin ducks down to avoid it.
Seraphin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sampson swivels and escapes.

Sampson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Seraphin is rocked!
A big left from Seraphin misses.
Seraphin is still on wobbly legs! Can Sampson finish him?
Beau Seraphin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seraphin tries to clinch there but Sampson circles away.
Seraphin seems to have recovered his senses.
Seraphin is looking to clinch but Sampson is avoiding it.
Seraphin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sampson is fending him off so far but Seraphin persists. Nope, Sampson circles away and we're back to standing.
Hercules Sampson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beau Seraphin.
Seraphin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sampson tries to avoid it but Seraphin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sampson to the ground. Sampson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Seraphin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Seraphin looks winded!

Sampson sends Seraphin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sampson is motioning to the referee to let Seraphin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Beau Seraphin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sampson is stalking Seraphin. Seraphin circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Sampson, and it's lights out! Seraphin really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
