The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blazorman gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Blazorman jumps into guard, dragging Dennis to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dennis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Blazorman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dennis defends well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dennis gets a clinch.

Blazorman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Blazorman or perhaps it was just good defense by Dennis which made him look bad.

Dennis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Blazorman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dennis.

Dennis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blazorman, pushing him back against the cage.

Dennis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blazorman tries to avoid it but Dennis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blazorman to the ground. Blazorman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Blazorman jumps guard but Dennis stands there with Blazorman around his waist. Blazorman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dennis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dennis tries to clinch up but Blazorman circles away and keeps his distance.

Dennis clinches up with Blazorman and pushes him back against the cage.
Dennis fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Dennis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dennis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blazorman as he avoids it easily.

Blazorman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dennis is fending him off so far but Blazorman persists. Nope, Dennis circles away and we're back to standing.
