Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Shamus McDermid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDermid's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Drunken Scotsman - The Irish Rovers. Shamus McDermid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDermid scoring well with a low kick there.
Morgan avoids the head kick by McDermid.
Morgan takes a swing at McDermid's ribcage but misses.
McDermid fails in his attempt to clinch.
Morgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McDermid tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McDermid throws a one two combo.
McDermid wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
McDermid scores with a push kick.

McDermid throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Morgan lands a right hand that snaps the head of McDermid backwards.
Morgan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Morgan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McDermid throws a good cross that connects.
McDermid has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Millions Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Morgan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McDermid wants to clinch up but Morgan keeps it at a distance.
Morgan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McDermid.
Morgan throws a jab when McDermid was well out of range.
McDermid rushes Morgan and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
McDermid misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Morgan lands with a light punch inside.
Morgan is trying to maintain a safe position but McDermid gets an underhook and turns Morgan into the ropes.
McDermid lands an elbow just above Morgan 's eye.
McDermid creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
With the fighters up against the ropes, McDermid throws an elbow but misses.
McDermid pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Morgan using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McDermid has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

McDermid can't find room to land a body shot as Morgan controls the action.

Morgan is looking to control McDermid's arms but McDermid gets an underhook and turns him. Now Morgan has his back to the ropes.

McDermid throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Morgans head.
Morgan tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
McDermid is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Morgan is defending well for now.
Morgan is trying to stall.
With the fighters up against the ropes, McDermid throws an elbow but misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McDermid scores with a sloppy right hand. Morgan should have avoided that one.
McDermid connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Morgan's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Morgan - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Shamus McDermid gave a big smile as he said 'Think you can just jump into Kickboxing and swim with the big fishes? You ain't making your name off of me! Better Luck next time'.
