Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Brown!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown rushes Wallace and presses him up against the cage.
Wallace is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brown gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Wallace is working for takedown but Brown is calmly controlling the position for now.
Brown working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Wallace blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wallace blocking some punches.

Wallace has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Brown clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wallace scores with punches and elbows.
You can see the frustration on Brown's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wallace is looking to control Brown but Brown is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Brown is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Wallace off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Wallace connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Brown to escape the position.
Wallace is trying to stick to Brown's back but Brown is turning into Wallace. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wallace's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Brown.
Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brown trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom.
Brown stays in close to Wallace's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like Brown might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wallace isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brown stacks Wallace on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brown!
Brown is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Check out the look on Brown's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Brown prevents Wallace from escaping the position.
Wallace can't do much from the bottom here.
Brown tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Wallace tries to buck Brown off but Brown is having none of it.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Brown working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Wallace tries to buck Brown off but Brown is having none of it.
Wallace manages to get back to half guard.
Wallace wants to control but Brown is keeping busy.
Brown keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Brown passes the guard and advances to mount!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wallace squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Brown wants to control the pace but Wallace is squirming around nicely.
Wallace wants to hold on but Brown pushes him away.
Wallace sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wallace is positioning himself well to prevent Brown advancing to mount.
Wallace is trying to stand.
Brown wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown prevents Wallace from improving his position.
Brown is thwarting Wallace's attempts to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyrone Wallace will probably get the nod.
That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Brown misses with an uppercut.
Wallace blocks a leg kick.
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Wallace.
A clash of legs there as Wallace blocks the low kick.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side.
Brown throws a head kick but Wallace moves out of range.
Tyrone Wallace is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wallace sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Wallace closes the distance and clinches.
Wallace tries to pull guard but Brown holds him up against the cage and eventually Wallace drops back down to his feet.
Brown throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wallace pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wallace goes for a double leg but Brown avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brown continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyrone Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown pushes Wallace back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Wallace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brown fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wallace.

Wallace moves into range and clinches up with Brown.
Wallace has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brown after a bit of a struggle.

Wallace is fighting off a takedown attempt but Brown is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wallace to the mat. Wallace regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Wallace is wriggling around but Brown manages to pass to half guard.
Wallace is trying to control but can't.
Brown landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tyrone Wallace wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Wallace definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Wallace fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wallace takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Wallace counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Brown stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Brown is looking to control Wallace's arms but Wallace gets an underhook and turns him. Now Brown has his back to the cage.
Wallace is trying to push Brown away but Brown has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Brown trying to control the position but instead, Wallace has worked for underhooks and has pushed Brown into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wallace drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brown with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Wallace is defending well.

Jack Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Wallace.
Wallace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brown defends it nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Brown misses with a low kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Brown enables Wallace to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brown manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Brown wants to sweep here but Wallace controlling him for the moment.

Brown tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Brown has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Brown.
Brown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wallace.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wallace in his tracks.
Brown will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyrone Wallace.
I think Wallace has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
