Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maukka Moukuttaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Haired Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moukuttaja comes to the cage accompanied by Born to be alive. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Long Haired Samson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moukuttaja getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Samson throws a sloppy head kick and Moukuttaja moves out of range easily.
Moukuttaja slips under a jab.
Moukuttaja cracks Samson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Moukuttaja really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Samson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Samson throws a sloppy strike and Moukuttaja uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Moukuttaja has ended up in Samson's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Maukka Moukuttaja.

Samson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Maukka Moukuttaja wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Samson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Samson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Moukuttaja.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Samson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Samson shoots in looking for a takedown. Moukuttaja tries to sprawl out of it but Samson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moukuttaja manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been told by Moukuttaja's head coaches at Elite Dojo [21 Coaches / 52 cap] that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Maukka Moukuttaja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Long Haired Samson.

Samson shoots in looking for a takedown but Moukuttaja manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Samson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Samson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Long Haired Samson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Samson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moukuttaja tries to avoid it but Samson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moukuttaja to the ground. Moukuttaja escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Samson shoots for a takedown but Moukuttaja saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Samson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moukuttaja defends it nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Samson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
