Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sorbinian Potasu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Namath!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Namath.
Namath moves out of range as Potasu strikes.
Namath has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Potasu is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Namath gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Potasu.
Sorbinian Potasu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Namath takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Namath slips a straight right by Potasu.
Namath throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Namath thows a left - swing and a miss!
Namath is looking to slow Potasu down with leg kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Oooooh!!! Potasu has knocked Namath down with a huge combo! Potasu steps away and waves a wobbly Namath back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Ryan Namath has been cut.
Namath ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Namath lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Potasu checks the leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Potasu swings for the body but Namath moves out of range.
Namath slips a straight right by Potasu.
Potasu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Namath connects with an inside leg kick.
Potasu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Namath moves away.
The fighters circling - Potasu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Potasu just misses with a punch to the body.
Potasu lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Potasu looks to score with a jab to the body but Namath is just out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Namath feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Potasu's calf.
Potasu takes one on the button.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Namath slips a straight right by Potasu.

Namath lands a big head kick that sends Potasu tumbling to the mat! Namath takes a step backwards and waves Potasu back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Sorbinian Potasu has been cut.
Namath scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Potasu takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Namath misses with a looping right.
Potasu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Namath was well out of range. Poor timing from Potasu.
Namath fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Potasu checks it well.
Potasu swinging wildly here.
Nice uppercut lands for Namath. That snapped Potasu's head back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Namath throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Potasu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Potasu thuds his right hand into Namath's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Namath on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Namath is looking to score with low kicks.
Potasu's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Potasu duly obliges.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Potasu jabs Namath right on the nose. Namath blinks but takes it well.
Namath misses with a looping right.
Potasu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Namath.
Potasu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Namath.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Namath lands with a straight right. Potasu didn't see that one coming.
Potasu swinging wildly here.
Namath blocks a jab.
Potasu thuds his right hand into Namath's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Potasu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Potasu throws a right and a left that Namath avoids nicely.
Potasu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Namath tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Potasu was well out of range. Poor timing from Namath.
Namath blocks a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sorbinian Potasu dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


That kick from Namath tenderised Potasu's leg. Potasu is trying to keep his angry face on.
Namath chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Namath uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Potasu.
Potasu misses the jab.
The fighters circling - Potasu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Namath walks into a left hand.
Namath keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Potasu with a nice cross.
Namath turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Potasu missing with a left hand there. Namath was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Potasu misses with a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Potasu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A head kick misses from Namath.
Namath lands with a hook. Potasu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Namath scores with a head kick.
Namath throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Potasu misses with a hook. Namath ducked under it nicely.
Potasu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Namath drops Potasu with a beautiful combination! Potasu stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Namath is looking for the KO!


Potasu is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Potasu throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Namath shoots in, scooping Potasu off his feet. Namath is holding his opponent over his shoulder. He slams Potasu to the mat and Potasu is in big trouble! Namath is landing strikes to his unconscious foe and the ref dives in to end the fight! Namath is celebrating with his corner and rightfully so.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Ryan Namath!
