The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gretzky moves into the clinch.
Gretzky ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gretzky no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Atkins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gretzky striking off his back but it's not causing Atkins any problems.
Gretzky will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Gretzky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gretzky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Atkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gretzky is tightening it up a little... Atkins has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Atkins reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Atkins taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gretzky!
