Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Alcatraz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Franklin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Alcatraz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Franklin quickly recovers to half guard.

Franklin is controlling an arm, preventing Alcatraz from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Alcatraz goes for an armbar but Franklin turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Franklin.

Alcatraz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Franklin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Alcatraz.

Alcatraz drops back looking for a leg! Franklin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Franklin manages to kick Alcatraz off! Alcatraz jumps back into Franklin's guard.

Alcatraz has gone for a leg lock! Franklin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Alcatraz's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alcatraz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Franklin stacks Alcatraz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Franklin!
