The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Miller has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Alzate.
That kick from Alzate tenderised Miller's leg. Miller is trying to keep his angry face on.
Alzate lands a slapping body shot.
Alzate defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miller.
Alzate lands a high kick!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alzate connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miller momentarily.
Alzate fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Miller.
Miller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alzate circles away.
Alzate scores with a punch to the head.
Miller takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Alzate scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Miller has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Alzate.
Miller takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A solid leg kick lands there for Alzate.
Jordan Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alzate lands a nice hook to Miller's body. Miller takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alzate has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Miller is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Miller needs to keep his hands up - Alzate had a free shot at his head there.
Alzate thuds his shin into the meat of Miller's side.

Alzate fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Miller has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Niko Alzate is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alzate lets loose with a powerful body kick. Miller will feel that in the morning.
Alzate connects with a single shot there.
Alzate connects with a leg kick. Miller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alzate lands with a thumping leg kick.
Alzate lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A slapping body kick lands there for Alzate.
Alzate cracks Miller with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Alzate manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alzate throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Miller on the side of the head.
Alzate lands a jab to Miller's midsection.
Miller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Alzate lands with a good body shot.
Alzate thumps Miller with a low kick.
Alzate feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down.
Alzate is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Miller had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Alzate buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Miller. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Alzate lands a brutal head kick. Miller looks out on his feet and Alzate throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
