Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Shephard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shephard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You All Everybody. Fuqua is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Prodigy- Diesal Power. Jack Shephard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuqua changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shephard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Shephard manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fuqua's best efforts.
Shephard is refusing to be controlled, as Fuqua sits in half guard.
Fuqua lands with a punch from half guard.
Shephard is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Synergy Fight Team , so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Fuqua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Shephard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frenchy Fuqua dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Shephard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Fuqua tries to get to full guard but Shephard has control of the leg.
Shephard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fuqua is just riding it out for now. Shephard eventually gives up the hold.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shephard fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

In his post fight interview, Jack Shephard started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
