Polish has chosen Ice Cube Today was a Good Day as his entrance music. Gabriel Fereiera could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to James Polish's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Fereiera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Polish!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polish scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've been told by Fereiera's head coaches at Cozad MMA Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Polish looks to score with a jab to the body but Fereiera is just out of range.
Polish uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fereiera.
Polish looks to land a combination. Fereiera sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Polish swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Polish has Fereiera up against the cage in a clinch.
Polish is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well Polish has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
