The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva takes one to the side of the head.
Silva has his takedown stuffed
and Powers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Powers counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Powers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Troy Powers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Silva.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Powers darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Silva's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Powers before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
