The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres with a lazy takedown attempt
and Salty counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Salty lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Torres at a distance.

Salty lands a left and a right that send Torres crashing to the mat, dazed. Salty thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Kevin Torres has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Torres changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salty tries to avoid it but Torres manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salty to the ground. Salty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Torres misses with a straight left.

Torres doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Torres looks winded!
The fighters circling - Torres throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Salty makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Elmo Salty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Torres.
Salty cracks Torres's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Torres slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Salty can do further damage! This one is done, son!
