The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viceroy works over Soni's head and body with a nice combination.

Soni drops back looking for a leg! Viceroy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Viceroy manages to kick Soni off! Soni jumps back into Viceroy's guard.

Viceroy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Soni.
Soni tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Viceroy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Soni tries to score a power double leg takedown but Viceroy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Soni somewhat.

Viceroy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Soni circles away quickly and effectively.

Viceroy tries to bum rush Soni with a series of wild strikes but Soni uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Soni lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Viceroy is pressed up against the cage. Soni has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Viceroy down to the mat. Viceroy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Viceroy just misses with a punch to the body.
Soni closes the distance and clinches up with Viceroy, looking for a takedown. Soni pushes Viceroy against the cage but Viceroy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Soni shoots in looking for a takedown. Viceroy tries to sprawl out of it but Soni keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Viceroy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lord Viceroy really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Tormented Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
