Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spar Bjj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer comes to the cage accompanied by We are the Champions. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Spar Bjj enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spar Bjj!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ron Honeybunn and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Frank Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hammer connects with a nice looking jab.
Hammer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hammer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bjj shoots in for a double leg but Hammer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hammer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hammer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hammer doesn't manage to clinch there - Bjj circles away.

Hammer steps into range and cracks Bjj with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Bjj flops backwards and Hammer dives into his guard looking to finish!

Bjj working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hammer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bjj tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hammer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bjj is pushing Hammer's head away, looking to escape. Hammer manages to hold on to the position though.

Bjj is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hammer digs a right hand into Bjj's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bjj's gas tank.

Bjj wants to take the fight to the mat but Hammer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Bjj changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hammer fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bjj takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Hammer drops Bjj with a naaaaasty hook - Bjj is in real trouble here! Hammer dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Frank Hammer tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
