Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans comes to the cage accompanied by Hans being Hans. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hans, as that shot connected.

It looks like Jake Shields has been cut.
Hans misses with a body punch

and Shields counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shields.
Shields won't allow Hans to sweep him here.
Shields is looking to work some ground and pound but Hans has wrist control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shields on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Shields tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shields has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hans lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Super Hans is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Shields drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hans gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Still in the clinch, Hans scores with a nice short uppercut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hans creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Jake Shields has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Shields is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Super Hans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Shields.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hans, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
