The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiano keeps the fight on the outside.
Fiano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fiano.
Fiano shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Fiano throws a hook but Moore blocks it.

Moore has closed the distance and engaged Fiano in a clinch.

Fiano gets a trip takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Fiano moves nicely into side control.

Fiano tries for a kimura but Moore is defending well.
Moore is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fiano is trying to ground and pound but Moore uses the momentary lack of control by Fiano to regain half guard.
Fiano throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Fiano has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fiano looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moore with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fiano has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Moore defend it? Fiano steps over the head and cranks it - Moore is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fiano!
