The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lund lands a front kick.
Lund turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Lund closes the distance and pushes Hurst back into the cage.

Lund creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hurst's defenses.

It looks like Prince Hurst has been cut.

Hurst breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lund jabs Hurst to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lund thumps Hurst with a low kick.
The fighters circling - Lund throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hurst shoots in looking for a takedown. Lund tries to sprawl out of it but Hurst keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lund manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lund thows a body shot but no joy.

and Hurst counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hurst checks a leg kick.

Lund lands with a slapping head kick.

Lund has Hurst up against the cage in a clinch.
Hurst tries to break free but Lund pushes him back against the cage.
Lund keeps control of Hurst as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lund presses Hurst against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Lund creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hurst wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Oh Hurst is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lund has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hurst clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lund lands a series of strikes from the back and Hurst goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!
