Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Merrill Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Lucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ford fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lucker, pushing him back against the cage.
Lucker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ford is working for takedown but Lucker is calmly controlling the position for now.

Ford breaks the clinch.

Lucker moves into the clinch.

Ford lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Ford decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Ford fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Lucker has Ford up against the cage in a clinch.
Ford has Lucker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lucker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Merrill Ford. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ford breaks the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lucker moves into the clinch.

Ford's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ford fails with a takedown attempt.

Lucker clinches up against the cage.

Ford breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Lucker misses.

Lucker lands a left and a right that send Ford crashing to the mat, dazed. Lucker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ford is rocked!

It looks like Merrill Ford has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lucker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oh Ford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lucker lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Ford - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Lucker!
