Nice combo by Dos Santos! Oh, that's hurt him - Burton falls to the canvas and Dos Santos follows him into side control.

It looks like Heriberto Burton has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Dos Santos seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Dos Santos is looking to take a break and control but Burton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Junior Dos Santos hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
No luck for Burton with that takedown attempt.

Burton drops his hands momentarily. Dos Santos doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Burton staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Burton doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
