Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Cantor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Al Haddad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elias Al Haddad will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Cantor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elias Al Haddad!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Haddad fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Al Haddad throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Al Haddad throws a head kick but Cantor moves out of range.
Cantor throws a hook but Al Haddad blocks it.
A telegraphed right hand from Cantor misses the target.

Al Haddad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cantor moves away.
Cantor misses with an uppercut.
Cantor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Al Haddad but Al Haddad pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cantor ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cantor takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Cantor is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Cantor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Al Haddad manages to avoid it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cantor. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Al Haddad lands a nice uppercut.
Al Haddad is pressed up against the cage. Cantor has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Al Haddad down to the mat. Al Haddad avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Al Haddad had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cantor defends it easily.

That's time! Cantor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roger Cantor.
I think Al Haddad has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
