And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Geordie St Pearce!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Watson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pearce bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
St Pearce avoids the body shot from Spiteri.
St Pearce misses with a looping left.
St Pearce throws a looping overhand right but Spiteri ducks down to avoid it.
Spiteri tests St Pearce's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Spiteri misses with a few strikes there.
St Pearce lands a nice shot that snaps Spiteri's head back.
St Pearce shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spiteri as he jumps to the side.
Spiteri has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Spiteri wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
St Pearce gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Spiteri.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dave Spiteri will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


St Pearce tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Spiteri defends well and St Pearce ends up having to push Spiteri into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Spiteri breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spiteri scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. St Pearce doesn't seem bothered though.

Spiteri really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for St Pearce.

Spiteri cracks St Pearce with a big right hand from the back mount! St Pearce immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Spiteri takes this one by TKO!
