Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uebishe Lesnoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnoe comes to the cage accompanied by It's On!. Price is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hank Williams III - Thrown out of the Bar. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uebishe Lesnoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Price!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Price has taken the fight to the clinch.
Price can't find room to land a body shot as Lesnoe controls the action.
Price swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Price tries to work over Lesnoe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lesnoe has Price pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Price manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lesnoe takes a shot to the head.
Lesnoe goes for a takedown attempt but Price pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Price jabs Lesnoe right on the nose. Lesnoe blinks but takes it well.
Price fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lesnoe on the side of the head.
Price throws a jab when Lesnoe was well out of range.
Price misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Price wants to clinch

and Lesnoe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Price's guard.
Lesnoe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lesnoe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Price works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lesnoe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Price is keeping the position for now.
Lesnoe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lesnoe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lesnoe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Price utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lesnoe preventing the sweep.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lesnoe throwing strikes but missing.

Lesnoe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Price is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Price controls Lesnoe momentarily but Lesnoe frees himself.
Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lesnoe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dan Price hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Price bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lesnoe's head.
Price lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Price throws a head kick but Lesnoe moves out of range.
Price lands a right hook to the body.
Nice shot lands for Price.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Price throws a front kick that sends Lesnoe stumbling back into the cage.
Price has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lesnoe is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A big right from Price misses.
Lesnoe takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Price with a hook.
Lesnoe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Price.
Price is looking to slow Lesnoe down with leg kicks.
Price closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lesnoe takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Price throws a leg kick that is checked

and Lesnoe counters with a takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lesnoe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Price sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lesnoe wants to control but Price is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on Price's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lesnoe tries to move into full mount but can't pass Price's legs.

Lesnoe is putting a hurting on Price here, landing some big shots from side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Price tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lesnoe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lesnoe trying to control the position but Price is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dan Price will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Price tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lesnoe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Price throws a half hearted mid kick.
Price looks to land a right hand but Lesnoe moved out of range.
Price checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A decent looking cross lands there for Price.
Dan Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Price tests Lesnoe's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Price looks to score with a jab to the body but Lesnoe is just out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Price lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lesnoe will feel that in the morning.
Price fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lesnoe has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lesnoe misses with a low kick as Price jumps back.
Price misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Price gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Price lands a really nice looking cross but Lesnoe seems unphased.
Price scores with a shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A combination from Price does no damage.
Price rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lesnoe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Price ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lesnoe moves away.
Lesnoe fails with a takedown attempt.
Price thuds a left hand into Lesnoe's body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lesnoe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Price thumps Lesnoe with a low kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Price.
Price scores with a spinning back kick!
Lesnoe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Price checks the leg kick.
Price lands with a thumping leg kick.
Price misses with a hook

and Lesnoe counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Price!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lesnoe advances to full mount.
Lesnoe avoids the attempt from Price to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lesnoe looking to control but Price is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lesnoe lands a big elbow.

Lesnoe looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Price keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Price tries to hold on but Lesnoe pushes him away.
Lesnoe throwing strikes here but Price is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Price wants to control but Lesnoe is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Price might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lesnoe haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lesnoe throwing strikes here but Price is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Price showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Price cracks Lesnoe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Price lands a jab.
Price throws a combination that misses

and Lesnoe counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Price's guard now.
Lesnoe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Price looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lesnoe is pushing down on Price's leg trying to pass to half guard. Price is fighting to maintain full guard but Lesnoe has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Price is looking for a sweep. Lesnoe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Price is not content to let Lesnoe control the position.
Lesnoe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Price is defending against the submission attempts here by Lesnoe.

Lesnoe in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Price tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lesnoe!
