Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Punchy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hughtavious Barkevious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punchy comes to the cage accompanied by Trent From Punchy. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Punchy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Barkevious's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barkevious can do anything to dispel that myth.

Barkevious felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Punchy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Punchy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barkevious's waist but Barkevious gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punchy off to one side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Barkevious throws a right hand that Punchy ducks under and follows up with a left that Punchy also avoids with ease.

That's time! Punchy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Punchy is trying to trip Barkevious. He has hold of a leg but Barkevious is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Punchy persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Barkevious is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Punchy is controlling him.

A very excited looking Trent Punchy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Hughtavious Barkevious was interviewed post fight and said 'Hughtavious don't lose dis fight. If Hughtavious was so inclined, Hughtavious could'a put dis foo' in the ground, but Hughtavious done gone all gracious on y'all and let dis dude have himself a win over Hughtavious. Hughtavious like to make otha brothas feel good 'bout deyselves e'ry now'n ag'.
