Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geodude Golem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onizuka Stresemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Golem might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Geo dude geo geo dude. Stresemann has chosen Takashi Sorimachi - Poison as his entrance music. Onizuka Stresemann has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stresemann throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Golem lands a nice shot that snaps Stresemann's head back.
Stresemann bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Stresemann on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A combination from Stresemann does no damage.
Stresemann takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Golem leaves Stresemann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Golem ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stresemann moves away.
Stresemann shoots for a takedown but Golem saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stresemann manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Golem on his heels. He'll look to pass Golem's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Onizuka Stresemann hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Stresemann swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stresemann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Golem pinned against the cage. Golem gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Geodude Golem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Onizuka Stresemann.

Stresemann closes the distance and clinches up with Golem, looking for a takedown. Stresemann pushes Golem against the cage but Golem circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That kick from Golem tenderised Stresemann's leg. Stresemann is trying to keep his angry face on.

Stresemann drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Stresemann is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Golem knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stresemann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Golem keeps working.

Stresemann shoots for a double leg takedown but Golem sprawls well. He's pushed Stresemann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stresemann stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Golem.

Stresemann can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Golem is looking to escape.

Stresemann is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Stresemann is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Golem has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Golem!
Golem wants to control from the top but Stresemann keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stresemann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Golem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stresemann manages to avoid it.
Golem fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stresemann looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Golem uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stresemann.
Golem sizes up Stresemann with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Stresemann throws a lazy right hand but Golem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Golem misses with a hook. Stresemann ducked under it nicely.

Golem connects with a jab.
Golem lunges at Stresemann with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stresemann's hand.

Stresemann looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Stresemann shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stresemann was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Golem is looking to regain half guard here but Stresemann keeps moving and retains side control.
Stresemann is looking to take a break and control but Golem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Golem tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stresemann wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight!
Geodude Golem showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Stresemann has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
